ACCOYO AMERICA ROAD WARRIOR

Huacaya, Male, Proven, White, Full Peruvian
ARI# 30955103 | DOB: 5/24/2007
Road Warrior is among the most prepotent herdsires working today. His crias consistently carry fleeces with the “total package” of desirable attributes: exceptional fineness, winning crimp style, great uniformity, long staple length, and density. And they carry those fleeces on strong, well-balanced frames. As a group they have excelled in the show ring, and won Road Warrior 7 Gets-of-Sire competitions during the first two years in which he had competing offspring. But we think the primary lega...

Aaendeavor's Medovina

Huacaya, Female, Proven, Medium Fawn
ARI# 35062462 | DOB: 9/17/2014

Medo's first breeding to Road Warrior produced a beautiful light fawn female with absolutely amazing fiber. Her second breeding to Accoyo America Road Warrior gave us a very sturdy white female cria. This cria's fiber is so dense that we cannot even get to the skin! We were unable to cria shear her due to her late birth date and so we may not be able ...

Description

This girl had a bit of a difficult birth. But it's been smooth sailing since that day. She was the last cria of the summer and yet she proved herself extremely hardy by surpassing cria born well before her in weight and size early on. She is a full sister to our Merida, a light fawn girl who has done well in the show ring. Merida has outstanding fleece, but this girl is so dense that we can't even get to the skin. We may not be able to show her this spring as we could not cria shear her due to her late-in-the-season birth date, but we look for her to really compete well in the fall shows. It can be difficult to ribbon when showing in the white classes, but this girl should really be able to compete!
