Our Ranch Mission
A successful breeding ranch which creates the finest alpacas by combining excellent genetics, and detailed animal husbandry. We strive to breed for uniformity of micron, excellent conformation and phenotype, and vigorous healthy alpacas.

Events are year round. We host farm tours, classes featuring the fiber, classes for breeders, Farm to Table dinners, annual Pen Sale, and more.

The Alpaca Store open Tuesday-Saturday 10-5. Stop on in and take a look at the array of products. We strive to carry as many products produced from our own herd as possible, using local mills. We also support Peruvian farmers and carry items produced from Peru.


In 2015 we had the pleasure of employing the North American Wool Co-operative (NAWC) to sort our annual fiber harvest. Professional sorters stated that our fiber is exquisite, placing the Sentinel Ranch Herd at the TOP 20% of all ranches in the USA, according to their expertise in fiber! Sorters are commenting on our uniformity, fineness, staple length, color uniformity and healthy bright strong fiber.

Our family is enjoying Ranch life in the beautiful Bozeman, Montana area. We work together and enjoy meeting visitors from near and far. Come visit the Alpacas, take a tour and shop in the store.
